2015 JELMS granted $7,500 to seven outstanding Latino students: 

  • Sandra Liliana Hernandez, was granted the first bursary of $500 for a student over 24 years

  • Adan Olivares Castro and Emily Cornejo Beltran awarded $500 each

  • Juan Felipe Jiménez, Mario Huezo Yanes and Ana Maria Rivera Alfonso received a $1,000 scholarship and a certificate of recognition.

  • Ana Maria Triana Caicedo received a $3,000 scholarship and the JELMS Plaque.

2019 Winners

English:

On Saturday, October 5th, we were very excited to meet the winners of the 2019 JELMS Scholarship. It was a very emotional moment when we recognized these seven students and their achievements in Canada. Thanks to all the collaboration and donations, JELMS was able to provide a total of $ 8,500 in scholarships.

El sábado 5 de Octubre tuvimos la gran dicha de conocer a los ganadores de la Beca JELMS 2019. Fue un momento muy emotivo donde reconocimos a estos siete estudiantes y sus logros a través de su vida en Canada. Gracias a toda la colaboración y donaciones, JELMS tuvo el privilegio de proveer un total de $8,500 en becas. Felicitaciones a todos!
